I've written and rewritten this comment several times now, only to settle on simplicity. I don't know that it represents you--though I understand it represents your preferences. What's lacking, I believe, is your personality. Your intelligence comes through swimmingly, but the whole package may come across as a bit daunting. I agree that you shouldn't settle, but after reading this I can think of only one person (of course this is based on a sadly limited perspective) who matches that desciption--and she's sitting in your chair right now, sister:)

Good profile, although yes, you might have trouble finding men who actually read on Match. I got the same response, winks from guys who hadn't read a thing. You might have better luck at eHarmony, 'cause anyone who goes thru the 500 question quiz thing is more serious than anyone on Match. I had the same situation on eH - they were all short! Good luck my friend, and I wish I could come with you on some of your trips!

cw - yeah, i guess it does comes across as limiting the choices but i don't know how else not to waste my time with people who i relly have nothing in common with - i'm so sick of adjusting to meet everyone else's likes/dislikes trying to fit into their world - for once i want someone to fit into mine which may ultimately result in spinsterhood but i just don't care - maybe all i really need to do is move - thanks for commenting finally! i'll be in seattle soon so prepare!
